Olly is the proud owner of this beautiful T25 (T3) campervan from 1982.
Olly has owned the van for some time and has made some major changes in this time. The exterior has been re-sprayed in the two-colour Burgundy and Creamy white which has been followed on throughout the interior.
Next up – Olly installed a Subaru engine… and you wouldn’t know – until it starts!
The next phase was to fit out the interior as a modern-day camper. We used cutting edge manufacturing techniques – CNC machined cupboards, a modern-day camper wiring loom and a crash-tested Rock and Roll bed.
The new power system includes battery to battery charging, 240->12v charger, dimmable lighting circuit and user interface with battery level indicators.
Key Features:
Carpet lining throughout
Custom-built CNC machined cabinets
Bamboo Worktop
Double hob and sink
Electric Fridge
240/12v Campervan electrical system
Roof insulation and carpet lining
Altro floor
VW Heritage curtains fitted
Remo2 bespoke sound system (12v)
Custom engine cover box and cushion (to house and allow access to the Subaru lump!)
Upholstery:
We supplied and fit a VanWurks 3/4 T25 Rock and Roll Bed which of course deserved the custom vinyl upholstery to match the front seats.
For this L’artisane (our in-house upholstery supplier) sourced the exact same burgundy vinyl as the front seats and careful measured and matched the dimensions of the double bently diamond stitching. Lastly, some cream piping to finish off the seat/bed and we think it looks great!
Colours:
Carpet Lining: Burgundy
Cupboards: Bordalino Oak Laminate
Floor: (Sand) Cream
We’re sure this isn’t the end of the story for this lovely old van – and we hope Olly will enjoy using his new camper fit-out as much as we enjoyed doing it!
