I could not speak more highly of Luke, Rob, Dan and Jasmin and Bobby with the interiors!  I only went out ‘window shopping’ old vans. I came across OAAC by accident when I took a wrong turn on an industrial park and I fell in love with their workmanship. They were all so kind and accommodating and informative! A real pleasure to talk to all of them and they really took their time. I was ‘spur of the moment’ and… they helped me source a brand new van immediately and we agreed colours and style. Any time I’ve had a query they’ve been great on email and calls and going that extra mile.  My van wouldn’t start to day (I don’t know why) and it’s a van engine issue but still Luke and team were there to suggest ideas. Purchased our first van a few months ago after seeing Luke and OAAC at a local event.
We were immediately impressed by the quality of the van and when we received our own custom made were absolutely delighted. Luke, Jasmin and Daniel extremely helpful at all stages of our purchase and even now months after. Already enjoyed several trips and loving our breaks away and looking forward to next year. We chose OAAC to fit out our conversion after extensive shopping around and the choice was based on our 12 years experience with our previous van (LeisureDrive).
We narrowed our choice down to 2 converters and then had long talks with both of them, it soon became clear that Luke & Dan were both on our wavelength.
We're  delighted with the finished product and the journey to get there was made easy by the help we got from Luke to source our base vehicle.
And the after sales help we've had from Jasmin has been heart warming.!

Wow!!! Just about sums up our new van! Dan, Luke, Jasmin and the team are all so friendly and offered so much advice and ideas on what to choose and what would work well when we were choosing our fittings for the van. Everything looks amazing, works well, top notch quality with no corners cut either. Have had several nights away in our van and we couldn't be happier! What a company from start to finish. Just picked up my conversion and I'm over the moon. When I first popped in just to look around I was sold. Dan even opened specially for me on a bank holiday to go over the spec of my van build. Jasmin and Luke kept me informed of the build on a weekly basis with pictures of the progress. The build quality is second to none with no corners cut. I am so glad I got my slot this year, as after their award recently 😉 I think they are going to have a very busy year next year. I have been absolutely thrilled with my campervan conversion from Out and About. I'm a vanlife novice but Dan and Jasmin made the whole process incredibly clear and easy. They even spent time helping me to find a van although, in the end, I sourced one on my own from an approved VW dealer. Once I started using the van, I realised how clever Dan's design is as well as how great it looks. I love the unholstery created by Bobby (from sister company L'Artisan) and every other aspect of the conversion design is attractive, ergonomic, practical and hard-wearing. Everyone at Out and About is always incredibly friendly and helpful, and Jasmin always responds quickly to any follow-up emailed queries. After a few months of use (including a trip to Spain), I returned to the workshop today with a very short snagging list & everything was fixed while I waited. Great service. The short version: a superb, stylish, conversion company with people who genuinely care about your experience. If you are considering a conversion and you like the look of their interiors, it's worth the effort to go an meet them.
The long version:  We spent a good deal of time checking out the various options for conversions, including the well known companies.  We are so glad that we found Out & About.  Of course it's a personal thing how you would like your van styled, but we really loved the pics on their website so made the trip down to see them.  We met Luke and Jasmine who couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful.  We got the full tour of the vans they had in - completed, part-completed - and it was clear that these guys loved what they did.  We decided to go for it - but we hadn't actually got a van to convert at this point.  Luke took the job on and between us, we got a van sorted.  When running through the various options available (we went for the contemporary interior) - Luke explained each simply and carefully and I never felt under pressure to accept an option.  Deposit paid and a build slot in a few weeks.  Throughout the build, we were kept updated by Jasmine - some changes were requested by us and dealt with.
